In their way are Russian side FC Ufa.
It’s their first European campaign, having beaten the Gers’ old foes Progres Niederkorn in a dramatic two legged encounter in the previous round.
A 94th-minute Ivan Paurevic goal clinched a 4-3 win on aggregate for Ufa.
Ufa are currently sixth in the Russian league, and which is also where they finished last season.
They’ve got Russian Cup winners FC Tosno to thank for the European spot, as they failed to apply for a UEFA license in time to take it up.
They face Dynamo Moscow on Monday before heading to Ibrox and then host Zenit on Sunday before welcoming Rangers the week after next.
Currently managed by Sergei Tomarov, the club was only founded in 2009.
There’s also a small Rangers connection to the club, with one of their first managers being former Ibrox star Andrei Kanchelskis.
The city of Ufa itself is over 2,000 miles away from Glasgow.
Highly rated Ufa players include Nigerian winger Sylvester Igboun, who goes by the nickname Sly, as well as young centre back Dmitri Zhivoglyadov.
