RANGERS have been linked with a move for Hibs midfielder John McGinn.
The highly-rated Scotland star is expected to move down south at the end of the season with a number of English clubs interested in securing his services.
But the Daily Record reports that the 23-year-old is on incoming Ibrox boss Steven Gerrard’s radar after being alerted to his availability by director of football Mark Allen and head of scouting Andy Scoulding.
Premier League side West Ham are also understood to have kept tabs on the former St Mirren midfielder, who Hibs boss Neil Lennon anticipates would be worth at least £5 million.
A move for McGinn could be partially funded by the sale of Josh Windass.
A number of reports surfaced last night linking the attacker with a £3m move to newly promoted Premier League side Cardiff City.
Burnley are also rumoured to be interested in signing the 24-year-old, who Mark Warburton signed from Accrington Stanley in the summer of 2016.
