Reports in Colombia have linked Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos with a £20m move to Newcastle.
According to Don Balon, the 22-year-old is a top target for Rafael Benitez, alongside fellow Spurs defender and Morelos’ fellow countryman Davinson Sanchez.
Morelos has been heavily linked with a move away from Ibrox this summer, having scored 30 goals this season.
The Magpies will be losing the services of Salomon Rondon as his loan deal from West Brom ends, while other strikers on their books haven’t impressed in the Premier League.
With a takeover by Sheikh Khaled possible, it may mean Benitez – who is yet to confirm his future at the club – could have money to spend this summer.
Meanwhile, The Northern Echo reports that Rangers are keen on a move for Dylan McGeouch.
The former Hibs star, who has had a disappointing season at Sunderland, sees his Black Cats contract expire and the end of next month.
Aberdeen, Brentford and Queens Park Rangers are also rumoured to be interested in the ex-Celtic youngster.
