A 1932 London & North Eastern Railway poster for the Night Scotsman sleeper service between London and Scotland has sold for £15,000 at an auction in Edinburgh.
The vintage artwork, designed by artist Robert Bartlett and intended for a station platform nearly 90 years ago, shows the locomotive steaming along the tracks at night.
It was sold at Lyon & Turnbull to a UK-based rail enthusiast.
