Friday night’s Red Hot Chili Peppers gig at Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park has been postponed.
The gig, part of the band‘s European tour, was called off on the morning of the show “due to illness”.
A statement posted on the band’s social media pages said work was underway to find a new date for the event to take place.
It said: “Due to illness RHCP will not be able to perform in Glasgow tonight July 1st.
“We are working on ways to reschedule this show. Please hold onto your tickets and wait for an update soon.
“RHCP love Scotland and are deeply disappointed not to be able to perform the show. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

Fans had been eagerly anticipating the band’s first show on Scottish soil since 2016.
It was one of a number of huge outdoor gigs in Glasgow this week, with Calvin Harris set to play Hampden on Saturday.
Green Day played Bellahouston on Wednesday alongside Fall Out Boy and Weezer on their Hella Mega Tour, and Guns N’ Roses play Glasgow Green on Tuesday.
TRNSMT festival also takes place at the Green next weekend.
