ROYAL Mail has encouraged customers to get their Christmas cards, letters and parcels posted before this week’s last posting dates.
The last recommended posting date for first class mail is tomorrow, Thursday 20 December.
Any customers who miss these dates can use their Special Delivery service up until Saturday 22 December.
If you were hoping to send your mail second class, you’re too late as the deadline was yesterday.
Customers should ensure their Christmas mail arrives safely with their loved ones by writing the address clearly and always including the full postcode and include a return address
They should also ensure that the correct amount of postage has been applied to avoid any delays or extra charges for the recipient.
Full information on pricing is available on the Royal Mail website, and at local Post Office branches.
