Russell Howard will bring his Respite tour to Edinburgh’s Festival Fringe 2020.
The comedian, known for his TV show’s including Russell Howard’s Good News and The Russell Howard Hour, will perform at Edinburgh Playhouse on August 18, 2020.
His third and largest world tour to date, performing in USA, Canada, Middle East and Europe, the new Edinburgh date follows a sold out UK arena tour this Autumn.
Russell’s YouTube channel currently has over 940,000 subscribers and The Russell Howard Hour was one of the most successful new entertainment series to launch on the channel since 2010.
The comedian’s 2017 sell-out international tour, Round the World, saw him break the record for the biggest English speaking stand-up show in China and play a record-breaking ten-night run at the Royal Albert Hall – overtaking 8 in a row jointly held by Frank Sinatra and Barry Manilow.
The tour culminated with the global release of Netflix Special Recalibrate.
