Robertson spent three seasons with the Tigers following his arrival from Dundee United, and joins the Reds on a long-term contract. The 23-year-old, who has 15 Scotland caps, previously played for Queen’s Park. The fee is undisclosed but is thought to be worth around £8million to the Sky Bet Championship club. There are not more special clubs than Liverpool,” he said. The move is good news for Dundee United too, as a sell-on clause was inserted into the deal that took Robertson south of the border. The Tangerines are set to land around £800,000 as a result.
