THE Edinburgh Chihuahua Cafe has opened in the heart of Scotland’s capital.
The city centre premises opened to the world on the 30th November, just in time for some festive cuppas and chihuahua cuddles in the run-up to Christmas.
The cafe kicked off with a Grand Opening Party with ‘Pawsecco’ and nibbles.
Doggy lovers can book sessions online from then onwards for hot drinks, treats and to meet the resident chihuahuas.
Cafe owner and founder Tanya Salitura told the Sunday Post that the cafe is inspired by the array of animal cafes in Japan, although this one is slightly different as the dogs won’t live there, they’ll head back home with Tanya at the end of the day.
The venue will also be hosting some special Christmas events, where each of the eight chihuahuas will don some seasonal knitwear.
Looking for a coffee date with a difference? Customers can book on the cafe’s website.
