JACK and Olivia have been revealed as the top baby names of 2017 by National Records of Scotland.
It’s the tenth consecutive year Jack has topped the list, while Olivia follows up on top spot in 2016.
The second most popular name for boys was Oliver, which rose from third in 2016 to second in 2017, while Emily remained the second most popular name for girls.

Entering into the top 50 for the first time are the likes of Freddie (up 26 places to 46th), Sienna (up 36 places to joint 32nd), Willow (up seventeen places to 35th), and Mila (up twenty places to 50th).
