ScotRail workers back industrial action over threat to jobs

SCOTRAIL workers have voted to take industrial action in a dispute over jobs.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union backed action by nine to one, saying there are plans to cut staff who monitor CCTV at railway stations.
General secretary Mick Cash said the jobs were “crucial” to providing a safe and secure railway, especially at a time of terror threats.
