Iain Stirling is to record his first hour-long special for Amazon in his hometown.
The Scots comedian will take to the stage at Edinburgh’s King’s Theatre for two performances in March next year, which will be filmed for the Prime streaming platform.
The special will feature Iain’s new stand-up show Failing Upwards, which he is touring nationwide throughout 2020.
In it, he will explore topics including his inability to function in the most basic of public settings, social media’s constant pressure to “live your best life” and that one time a man stole his shoes.
Iain, who is best known as the voice of Love Island, has been thrilling audiences across the country with his most recent tour U Ok Hun?x, including selling out the Edinburgh Fringe before it had even opened.
Iain also released his first book in May of last year.
Tickets are now on sale for both shows, 5pm and 7:30pm on March 29, at iaindoesjokes.com
