MORE than half of flyers want a ban on fellow travellers reclining their seats on short haul flights.
A study by holiday specialist On the Beach found 52% of Scots support a ban during the daytime and at all meal times.
Another 42% said reclining should be banned only during meal times.
In contrast, just 6% of those surveyed said people should be allowed to recline their seat whenever they wish.
Reclining seats is a major gripe among travellers on short haul flights.
However, the survey revealed that despite the number moaning about the practice, almost one in 10 Scots (9%) admit to reclining their seat throughout the entire journey.
