A Scots youngster has proved a big hit online with an adorable singalong encouraging us to all come together to beat coronavirus.
To the tune of Barry Manilow’s Copacabana, seven-year-old Krista Smillie takes on the character of “Winnie fae Pollok” to sing about the “nasty wee bug sent to try us”.
The Blantyre youngster now has her own YouTube channel, Kool Krista, and mum Carolann has been sharing the videos to the world through her Facebook page.
The most recent posts have been shared thousands of times online, and the family have been blown away by the response.
Krista said: “Thank you to everyone for your messages and comments.
“They make me happy and I hope you like my videos.”
On the original video, people from across Scotland hailed it as a bit of light relief amid the ongoing crisis.
Jacqui Inglis commented: “This is the best clip yet! Fantastic!”
Ann Craig wrote: “Fantastic, well done you are a wee star!”
While Helena Reid added: “Absolutely brilliant. Well done wee lassie.”
