Roads in Glasgow will be brought to a standstill this weekend as Scottish independence supporters march through the city.
It’s expected tens of thousands of marchers will walk from Kelvingrove Park to Glasgow Green tomorrow afternoon.
The marchers in the All Under One Banner walk, sees the council and police requesting a host of junction and lane closures on the motorway in a bid to protect public safety.
The group lodged an application with Glasgow City Council stating that around 100,000 supporters are expected.
Road closures are planned with drivers and public transport being hit.
First Bus Glasgow say they will endeavor to keep a service running “however there will be disruptions and diversions to services.”
The group are to gather at Kevingrove Park at around 12.30pm, before making off towards Glasgow Green at around 1.30pm.
Roads in the following areas will be affected by the march: Kelvingrove, Kelvinway, Gibson St, Woodlands Rd, Sauchiehall St, Pitt St, West George St, Blythswood Sq, West George St, Nelson Mandela Pl, West George St, George St, High St, Saltmarket, Glasgow Green.

M8 westbound junction 15 onslip at Townhead CLOSED
M8 westbound lane closure junction 15 to junction 18
M8 westbound junction 17 at Great Western Road onslip CLOSED
M8 westbound junction 18 onslip at Phoenix Road CLOSED
M8 westbound junction 18 at Charing Cross CLOSED
No access from Charing Cross or new City Road
