Seven residents of a care home have died of Covid-19 and another 32 are infected with the virus.
The outbreak at the Redmill Care Home in West Lothian has also hit staff, with 25 testing positive.
Redmill, which is owned by HC-One, has 68 beds and offers nursing care for people with dementia.
A spokesman said: “Our thoughts and sympathies are with all families who have lost a loved one from coronavirus. Caring for our residents and supporting our colleagues is at the heart of what we do and we are doing our utmost to support them during this difficult time.
“We have a comprehensive coronavirus contingency plan in place and we are working closely with NHS Lothian and Public Health to ensure we are doing all we can to support and protect our residents.”
A second care home in the NHS Lothian area, Milford House in Edinburgh, has also had 31 positive test results.
The deaths of almost 2,000 care home residents in Scotland have been linked to the virus.
More than 250 prisoners at HMP Barlinnie in Glasgow are also in self-isolation after two inmates and four staff members tested positive.
Visits to the 256 inmates in A Hall have now been banned until October 20.
A cancer ward at the Western General Hospital has been closed after a small number of patients died following positive tests.
Six other patients have been infected and NHS Lothian has launched an investigation.
