Rollermania came to Glasgow over the weekend as fans from around the world descended on the city’s Hard Rock Cafe.
Saturday night saw the legendary Stuart ‘Woody’ Wood take to the stage with The New Generation Bay City Rollers band.
The rocking, tartan-clad crowd included fans who’d flown in from Japan and America for the show.
The performance featured what’s been described as a fresh rebirth of the original band.
The New Generation Bay City Rollers now features Ian Thomson on lead vocals and guitar, Marcus Cordock on bass guitar, Jamie McGrory on drums and Woody on guitar.
Woody gifted a guitar to the Hard Rock Cafe, which will appear alongside music memorabilia ranging from Eric Clapton to Frightened Rabbit, Primal Scream and Amy Macdonald.
He said: “We had a blast playing The Hard Rock Cafe in Glasgow. Great night, great venue! Keep On Rolling!!! Love Woody , Ian , Marcus and Jamie.”
Fan Agnes Barnes, 55 from Edinburgh said: “Woody was my hero. It’s been such a brilliant night hearing all these songs again live. It takes me back to being a teenager. I still adore the band!”
