Glasgow and Edinburgh based restaurant Six By Nico is offering up Paris as its latest theme in culinary fare.
And with February the month of love, so why not indulge even further in a new Scottish menu inspired by the city of love itself too?
Chef Nico – who also recently added Public House by Nico to his smorgasbord of affordable fine-dining restaurants with a twist – has created a Parisian menu that features everything from exotic delicacies to traditional crowd-pleasers.
Paris’s new six course tasting menu includes: French Onion – Braised Onion, Compte Espuma, Brown Butter Croutons; Coq au Vin – Chicken Terrine, Crispy Bacon, Soubisse; Petit Pois a la Français – Slow cooked Egg, Pea, Charred Gem, Ham; Bouillabaisse – Sole, Confit Fennel, Roasted Pepper, Rouille; Beef Bourguignon – Ox Cheek, Mushroom duxelles, Shallot and Bacon crumb, Red Wine and finally Creme Brûlée – Raspberry, Rose and Lychee, Pink Peppercorn Meringue, Brown Sugar.
