Families across Scotland will be able to get a taste of life on the farm without leaving their home this week.
Starting today, a number of farms across the country will go live on Facebook to offer a glimpse of what’s going on on their land.
The Go Rural #lambathon is set to feature some cute lambs, working sheepdogs and other aspects of farming life.
The initiative was kicked off by Jackson’s at Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders, and a different farm will feature each day at 2pm this week at facebook.com/gorural
The aim of the digital event is to raise awareness of the importance of agriculture, as well as offering a little spring cheer as we’re forced to stay at home this Easter.
