The Sunday Post has scooped a top award for our News Worth Waiting For campaign.
Publishers DC Thomson Media and PR agency John Doe won gold for Brand Development at the Marketing Society Scotland’s Star Awards 2021, held on Thursday night.
Our campaign saw billboards across the country celebrate our award-winning, hard-hitting and difference-making journalism.
A series of eye-catching adverts showcased our dedication to taking time over our investigations and features and not just breaking the news, but telling the whole story.
The campaign was also supported by video content and new branding across our social media channels, electronic advertising and copies of the paper being handed out in Glasgow, Edinburgh and St Andrews.
There were further awards for DC Thomson Media, winning gold alongside John Doe in the Brand Experience category for The People’s Friend’s Close Knit Friends campaign, and a silver award for Marketing Planning with My Weekly magazine.
