SWELTERING conditions are set to continue across Scotland this week, with some parts of the country forecast to hit over 30 degrees.
The record breaking temperatures are being caused by warm air from Africa.
Wednesday will see extremely hot conditions, with temperatures soaring to the 30 degree mark.
And Thursday could even see the mercury hit a boiling hot 31.

STV weather presenter Sean Batty said: “Scotland will experience unusually high temperatures in the coming days with a high possibility of exceeding 30C in a few spots.
“Wednesday and Thursday look like the hottest days with the mercury soaring to the high 20s widely with the warmest spots tending to be in the north and west of the country.
“Deeside, Aviemore, Inverness, Loch Ness and Glasgow are likely to be the top hot spots on Wednesday with temperatures likely to reach between 28C and 30C.”
