The first acts joining the line-up for this year’s Tenement Trail music festival have been announced, with the likes of Fatherson, The Magic Gang and Baby Strange on the bill.
This year’s event is moving to the east end of Glasgow, with organisers breathing a fresh energy into the festival and bringing acts to The Barrowlands, St Luke’s, The Winged Ox Bar, BAas, The Backyard and more.
The line-up of acts so far also includes: Sea Girls, VIDA, Apre, Beta Waves, Calva Louise, EUT, Freakwave, Kitti, Lazy Day, Leif Erikson, Luna The Professor, Oscar Lang, Quiche, Ruthanne, ST.MARTiiNS, The Plastic Youth, Tongue Trap, Vlure and ZuZu.
Speaking about the line-up, founder Chae Houston said: “The team have been working hard to create a line-up that will excite fans of both Tenement Trail and new music.
“We have a brilliant mix of touring and local talent in there and to see a local band like Fatherson top the bill after they smashed their headline show at the Academy at the weekend is amazing.
“TTV have supported Fatherson since the start and so it will be a truly amazing celebration of Scottish music on the 12th October. We have more bands to announce, so stay tuned!”
Last year’s Tenement Trail sold-out and saw bands including The Cribs, Yonaka, Man of Moon, The Van T’s, Walt Disco and more play.
The festival is famed for being ahead of the curve with acts including Lewis Capaldi, Sam Fender, The Amazons and The Big Moon play in recent years.
