IT’S been a long campaign ahead of tomorrow’s General Election.
The UK finally goes to the polls after weeks of debates, public appearances and leafleting.
As always, the leaders of the big political parties have been out and about for various photo opportunities and visits.
Musical instruments, babies, animals, all sorts of food and even custom designed glass underwear have been used as props.
Here’s a look at some of the most amusing pictures from the campaign trail…
SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon attempts a tune in Paisley…
And the First Minister was presented with a pair of stained-glass pants, which she designed for the Prostate Cancer UK charity, on a visit to Anstruther…
And it looks like Nicola is in the driving seat.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn meets Cody the Daschund…
And seems equally surprised playing an Er hu (a Chinese violin) at an arts and community centre in Liverpool…
And again during story time in Bristol…
But if the election goes to a penalty shoot-out, Labour are in safe hands.
Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie gets to grips with a ram…
And a cask of ale…
And time travel.
Prime Minster Theresa May samples some cheese…
But doesn’t seem thrilled to be in this Kelso workshop…
It’s all smiles, however, in this market.
Kezia Dugdale dishes out some bacon rolls…
And the Scottish Labour leader also had some fun at an Edinburgh flower shop.
Flour of a different spelling as Ruth Davidson visits a bakery in Dumfries…
Before canvassing the canine vote…
And getting very excited about Theresa May’s visit to Edinburgh.
Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron re-enacting the Amarillo video (possibly)…
And while Corbyn may have the edge on a real pitch, table football is Tim’s domain.
All aboard!
