Sign Up JOBSEEKERS fear being asked why they should be hired during an interview, and most are too nervous to show their true ability, research has revealed. A survey of 6,000 people looking for work found that a third suffered from self-doubt during an interview and lose their train of thought. Half of those questioned by jobs site totaljobs said interviews made them feel nervous. The most feared questions were: “Why should I hire you?” “Tell me about yourself”, and “What is your biggest weakness?” More than one in five jobseekers believed they talked too quickly, or too much, during a job interview, while one in 10 feared they would be sick.
