Many Scottish cinemas may still remain closed, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a unique night at the movies.
A drive-in cinema has been set-up at intu Braehead’s boardwalk in Glasgow, with showings across this week and weekend.
Films include Grease, Jurassic Park, Mama Mia, Goonies, Finding Nemo, Lion King, The Lost Boys, Back to the Future and Dirty Dancing, shown until 2 August.
Last night saw the first showing, with a packed out car-park for Grease, with a number of tickets still left for films throughout the rest of the week.
Scott Martin, intu Braehead Leisure general manager added: “People seemed to move like greased lightning to snap up the tickets when they went on sale.
“It’s a novel way to have a good night out with the family and there are still a few tickets left for some of the drive-in movie showings during the rest of the week.”
