He’s best known as all-action hero Jack Bauer in 24 and, most recently, Designated Survivor’s President Kirkman.
But Kiefer Sutherland is also an incredibly talented musician, and he’s set to bring his intimate solo show to Glasgow next month.
The Canadian actor, whose grandparents were born in the city, will perform a night of music and storytelling as well as take part in a Q&A session at Cottiers Theatre on April 7.
His primary motivation as an artist is the thrill of forging that connection with his audience through the music.
The 52-year-old says: “I couldn’t have imagined the depth with which I have fallen in love with touring. To have the opportunity to convey intimate, personal stories to an audience, for me, has proven to be priceless.”
The stage holds a special place in his heart and, for the last three years, he has toured extensively.
At his last show in Glasgow, he remarked upon how much he loved the city and claimed it was “the best night of his life.”
Tickets are on pre-sale from Wednesday March 13 at 9am, with fans who pre-order his new album getting priority access.
General sale is from Monday March 18 at 12pm.
