Game of Thrones may have influenced picks this year, as 47 babies were named Arya and three names seemed to reference mother of dragons Khaleesi (Khaleese, Khaleesi-Destiny and Khaleesi-Grace).
Past and present women of the royal family are all represented in the name choices, with 57 Elizabeths, 33 Victorias, 26 Catherines and 13 Meghans.
Boys
Seven baby boys born last year were named Corbyn.
One infant was named Bear, the same name as Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne’s son, while another was named Fox.
Mythical names included three Phoenixes and a Thor.
