A TOURING pantomime is giving children all across Glasgow the chance to enjoy some festive fun this December.
Glasgow Arts’ Community Pantomime Sleeping Beauty will visit a number of the city’s community centres in the run-up to Christmas.
The pantomime, with ticket prices of £5 and £2.50 concession, opened on Tuesday at Barmulloch Community Centre.
The sing-a-long family friendly show has been described as Sleeping Beauy with a ‘gallous Glasgow twist’.
Councillor David McDonald, Chair of Glasgow Life and Deputy Leader of Glasgow City Council, said: “It’s never really Christmas until you’ve had the fun of the pantomime. This is a great production and wonderful take on the old classic.
“Taking it into the heart of our communities really makes the pantomime season accessible to so many and gives people of all ages the chance to enjoy the occasion.”
