PASSENGERS on some of Scotland’s busiest trains will see the number of seats cut in half for months.
Passengers and staff on the Edinburgh to Glasgow line are expecting to face major disruption when 10 trains will have their carriages reduced from six to three or four.
The disruption is expected to last until May due to a delay in the introduction of electric trains.
Labour and the Conservatives have both hit out at the delay, while transport minister Humza Yousaf said the Government was “listening” and a solution would be found.
ScotRail confirmed the changes and apologised for any inconvenience to passengers.
