CARY JOJI FUKUNAGA has been named as the director of the 25th James Bond film.
The 41-year-old replaces Danny Boyle, who dropped out of the role last month over creative differences.
Filming of the next 007 blockbuster, expected to be Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as the agent, will begin in March of next year at Pinewood Studios.
The film is due to be released in February 2020.
“We are delighted to be working with Cary. His versatility and innovation make him an excellent choice for our next James Bond adventure,” said producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.
