SILENT WITNESS star Emilia Fox has revealed how the grisly show has changed her since she started in 2004.
Emilia, who joined the cast as Dr Nikki Alexander when Amanda Burton left 13 years ago, said the experience of playing someone so closely aligned with death has affected her as a person.
Referring to a post-mortem she went to when she first joined the show, she said: “It was a boy and a very untimely death.
“He was in his prime. If you had said to him a few days earlier what might happen he would never have believed it.
“Life is short.”
