MANCHESTER UNITED’S players can make it three wins in a row under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer today.
But they should all be ashamed of themselves.
Their performances since Jose Mourinho was sacked have proved what everybody suspected – they had downed tools under the Special One.
You can say what you like about Jose’s attitude towards the end of his time at United.
But the bottom line is that his players were pulling on the Manchester United shirt every week and failing to give their all for the cause.
They were selling the fans short.
As far as I’m concerned, that’s an absolute disgrace.
Now they have started making an effort again, the talent within the ranks is shining through.
If Solskjaer can stay on their good side – because clearly that’s important with this lot – there’s no telling what they could achieve.
They’ve got a tough draw against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
But if United’s big players keep firing, I can see them snatching a win.
After that, why can’t they finish in the Premier League’s top four?
They were capable of doing it under Jose Mourinho.
They chose not to.
For that, they should hang their heads.
