SCOTFEST is offering a free welly-washing service as well as cups of tea, coffee and bottles of water to anyone who camps overnight during the eighties and nineties festival.
The nostalgia filled two day party on July 6 and 7 in Edinburgh will be Scotland’s second biggest festival with a capacity of 35,000 each day.
A host of acts including Boyzone, The Jacksons, B*witched, Liberty X, 5ive, Five Star, The Bay City Rollers, and S Club will take to the stage at the Royal Highland Centre In Ingliston.
The family friendly fest has even split up its camping site into a child friendly zone and adult zone so revellers can have peace of mind overnight as well as fun and games for the kids.
There’s a Petrolheads Zone and Fairground Area too.
On site parking is available and organisers have also teamed up with glamping organisers Pitchvillage.com to build special pods for those who want extra luxuries like hair straighteners, curling tongs, phone chargers, posh toilets and other pamper products during their stay.
Festival boss Mark Bennett said: “We know how important it is for people to feel safe at a festival overnight and we’ve tried to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
“Camping fees are ten pounds per person. You may then self pitch or upgrade through our partners at Pitch Village where prices range from £75 to £100 and above.”
See PitchVillage.com for upgrade options including pre pitched tent, mattress and sleeping bags along with pamper zone, showers, valuable storage, phone chargers and more.
Mark added: “Scotfest is a family friendly festival and we will have plenty of fun and games for kids as well.
“We don’t expect people to get too muddy over the course of the weekend because The Royal Highland Centre isn’t all grass underfoot, but we will have a free welly cleaning service for campers just in case.”
