Local people have reported hearing a loud explosion at around 8.30am and emergency services were quick to reach the scene. A cordon has been thrown up and onlookers asked to stay well back, according to one witness. Police said buildings in the area had been evacuated as a precaution. The electricity supply in the area has also failed.
