Video from on board Viking Sky cruise ship shows furniture rolling across deck in stormy conditions

Video footage from on board the cruise ship Viking Sky shows furniture rolling around and parts of the ceiling collapsing.

Passengers are being evacuated from the vessel, which suffered engine trouble in wild weather while off the Norwegian coast.

American Alexus Sheppard posted videos on Twitter as she awaited rescue by teams who are working to get all 1,300 on board to safety.

Passengers and crew are being winched one by one into helicopters and shuttled to dry land.

Stormy conditions are expected to last late into the night, with the rescue operation set to take hours.

Eight people are reported to have been injured on the ship.
