Nicola Sturgeon has helped launch this year’s Wear Red Day for Show Racism the Red Card Scotland.
The First Minster revealed the date for the event will be Friday October 4, with thousands of businesses, schools, councils, unions and sports groups already signed up to take part.
The aim of Wear Red Day is to raise awareness for the need for more anti-racism education in Scotland, undertaken by the charity Show Racism the Red Card.
The charity are asking for just £1 from those that can donate in order to help reach more young people across Scotland.
The Sunday Post will be taking part, as well as BBC Scotland, whose presenters and newsreaders will wear red on the day.
NHS Fife and over half of MSPs in Holyrood will also be taking part, as well as staff at the Coca-Cola plant East Kilbride, the Radisson Red and many more.
A number of landmarks will also be lit up in red to mark the occasion, including The SSE Hydro, the Kelpies, Ness Bridge and the EICC.
