Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery is to be transformed into ‘Elfingrove’ this Christmas.
During the month of December, the much-loved attraction will be host to night-time tours culminating in a state of the art lightshow.
With a production team of over 60 people (and a few elves), organisers itison promise an epic Christmas spectacle for the people of Glasgow and beyond, billed as Night At The Museum meets GlasgGLOW.
As well as the museum’s interior, the gardens will be transformed into a winter wonderland with street food, a bar and festive surprises.
Itison will also be creating E.L.F – The Elfingrove Legacy Fund – giving back to the local community and donating 1000 tickets to good causes.
Oli Norman, CEO of itison and creator of Elfingrove, said: “We’ve been working on Elfingrove for two years and are beyond excited to finally announce it to the people of Glasgow.
“Only me, my daughter and Santa know an ancient secret that we’ll be revealing for the first time at Elfingrove that will challenge everything you know about Christmas…”
Earlybird tickets will go on sale on Wednesday 2nd October at 7.30am at www.itison.com/elfingrove, with tickets starting from £8.
