Look out Wee Harry, it looks like Oor Wullie’s got a few new canine companions!
As part of the launch of Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail this week, a group of Scottie dogs paid a visit to one of the statues on Glasgow’s Buchanan Street.
Bonnie Oor Wullie is sponsored by food and drink company Scotty Brand, who were handing out fresh strawberries to passers-by.
They put out a call for Scottie dogs to gather at the statue, designed by Shelley Jayne.
It’s one of 58 statues in the Glasgow area of the trail, with around 200 nationwide.
The Trail got underway over the weekend, with statues installed in all of Scotland’s cities, as well as a few more dotted across the country.
They’ll be in place until August 30.
People have been taking selfies with the statues and collecting the codes using the special trail app.
The sculptures will be auctioned off and the money raised will support the work of Scotland’s children’s hospital charities: Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity and the ARCHIE Foundation (Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, Tayside Children’s Hospital and Highland Children’s Unit).
