FOUR seasons in one day – it’s a typical Scottish summer!
After a few days of basking in glorious sunshine and some bright spells earlier today, most of the country has seen conditions take a turn for the worse.
The dark clouds of thunderstorms have rolled in across Scotland, with some parts experiencing a deluge of rain.
Giant hailstones have also fallen across the country, giving a more wintry look to the landscape.
Drivers reported difficult conditions on the A9 in Perthshire as a blanket of hailstones covered the carriageway.
And Twitter user @Dazbeattie9 posted a picture of the giant stones that had fallen in Braco, near Dunblane.
Hail showers were also seen further south, including in Glasgow where thousands of concertgoers were heading to Hampden Park for a Beyoncé and Jay-Z gig.
