The British Academy Film Awards will take place this Sunday, so here’s some details on the numbers behind Britain’s biggest night in film.
La La Land leads the pack with 11 nominations and has already made Oscar history by landing more nods than any other musical.
In the Best Film category, La La Land will will go head-to-head with Ken Loach’s unflinching work I, Daniel Blake, which won the coveted Palme d’Or prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
Also in the running for best film will be sci-fi movie Arrival drama Manchester By The Sea and Moonlight, a coming of age story about a gay black man growing up in Miami.
Arrival and Tom Ford’s noir thriller Nocturnal Animals both received nine nominations and Manchester By The Sea has six.

I, Daniel Blake, Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, Hacksaw Ridge and Lion will compete for five awards.
The statuettes will be handed out at a star-studded ceremony hosted by Stephen Fry at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 12th February.
