A koala and a kangaroo have been celebrating Australia Day together at their home, Symbio Wildlife Park.

Willow the koala and an as-yet un-named kangaroo have struck up an adorable unconventional friendship.

Watch as the lovely pair happily hang out, keeper in tow to make sure everyone’s safe.

This isn’t the first time Willow has befriended an unlikely animal. Last year she was filmed chilling out with a butterfly.
