Singer-songwriter Rosie H Sullivan will perform in Glasgow on Saturday following on from the release of her much-anticipated EP.
With a similar ethereal musical style to the likes of Phoebe Bridgers, Laura Marling and Elliott Smith, Rosie is quickly making a name for herself on the Scottish music scene.
Her single So I’ve Been Told made it onto Spotify UK’s New Music Friday playlist and was named Single of the Week on BBC Radio Scotland’s Afternoon Show.
Growing up on the remote Isle of Lewis in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides, music and nature were the two binding forces in Sullivan’s childhood.
With a musical diet ranging from Joni Mitchell to Genesis and stunning landscapes from which to draw inspiration, the now 20 year old was already writing music before her teens.
She will perform at the iconic King Tuts venue in Glasgow’s city centre, famed for giving a platform to the most talented new music in the country.
Rosie H Sullivan, King Tuts, Glasgow, January 21.
