The changing of the seasons means a change in skincare – and we should never forget our lips, according to Rose Dyson, founder of Pura Cosmetics.
“Your lips’ skin is much thinner and more delicate than any other skin on your body so it’s crucial to take the time to care for your pout,” she said.

Take care

Smooth operators
Rose says it’s good to establish a lip-care routine, and keep a good balm to hand. “We recommend using products high in emollients. Scrub time

“It sounds simple but hydration and drinking lots of water leads to lots of benefits for your skin in general but especially your lips.
“Try not to lick your lips. Once the saliva evaporates, it takes away extra moisture from your skin. Also avoid biting or peeling flaky skin. It will only make them look and feel worse and it leads to slower healing.
