IT’S the moment Still Game fans have been waiting for – and perhaps dreading.
In tonight’s episode, one of the show’s beloved characters finally met their maker.
Their identity had been kept a mystery, with only those working on the show being privy to the information.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes even offered odds on who it would be with Shug, Eric and Methadone Mick clear favourites.
In the end it was indeed Eric who bid a final farewell to The Clansman.

Eric was played by 87-year-old James Martin.
The Craiglang favourite’s death was accompanied by Bruce Morton’s guest role as spooky undertaker Mr Shearing.
Morton told The Sunday Post last week: “I jumped at the chance and took my guidance from Ford and Greg who said they wanted this Lee Van Cleef character. Someone with a hint of darkness.

“I wouldn’t describe myself as an actor by any means, so I tried to keep it nice and simple.
“But then about half of the core crew on the show aren’t trained actors. They just have a comedy instinct and they know each other so well it’s almost like a family.
“It’s so well-written that you’d need to be doing it really badly to muck it up. If you just follow the direction and say the words in the right order, then it seemed to go all right.”
The new series of Still Game continues next Thursday at 9pm on BBC One.
