British Transport Police have launched an investigation after a woman was sexually assaulted on a Scottish train.
A man with tattoos on his hand is reported as inappropriately touching a woman in her 20s on a train between Glasgow Central and Carluke.
The man also made sexual comments towards the woman and was aggressive to other passengers on the train.
The incident happened at 8.51pm on July 11.
The man, who is also described as white, bald, tall, of a heavy build, wearing a purple or pink hooded top, jeans, green trainers was also carrying a white drawstring bag.
