ACCORDING to a new study, one in ten people in the UK have a plan in place in the event that the dead rise as zombies.
The unusual survey, carried out by YouGov, suggests that those aged 18-24 are even more likely to be prepared, with 23% saying they know exactly what they’ll do should the dead rise to attack the living.
Men also appear to be more likely to have zombie plans than women – 14% compared to 8%.

The study also revealed what people’s plans were, with the top course of action (45%) understandably being finding somewhere to hole up and hide from the oncoming doom.
43% said they’d make an effort to gather supplies, with 29% saying they’d change their location in an attempt to escape.

Many of the respondents appear not to be fans of the hit TV series The Walking Dead, as few believed they’d work with other survivors, as well as have the need to kill the zombies and some humans if necessary.
