We all know Oor Wullie is a celebrity in his own right.
So much so, a host of his star pals have lent their support to his BIG Bucket Trail this summer.
The Sunday Post favourite has attracted a whole range of celebrities over the last 11 weeks of the trail, from Hollywood actors to sports legends and pop stars.
Sir Ian McKellen, Olly Murs, Lewis Capaldi and Rita Ora are just some of the big names to sign special Oor Wullie celebrity statues to help raise awareness of Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail, in aid of Scotland’s children’s hospital charities.
Huge thank you to the wonderfully talented @RitaOra for supporting our young patients by signing our Celebrity Oor Wullie ahead of her @TheSSEHydro show! ??

The trail officially came to an end on Sunday, after 200 specially created Oor Wullie statues placed across the country this summer in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness were taken down.
In the words of Jack & Victor, “He who hingeth aboot getteth heehaw!” ????

The statues will be auctioned off at special events in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee from September 16-20 to raise vital funds for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity and The ARCHIE Foundation.
Special farewell events will say a final goodbye to the statues of Scotland’s favourite son, held in each host city from September 13 to 15.
The events will give the public one last chance to see all of the colourful characters reunited and joined by 33 mini versions, which were designed by schools and community groups.
The unique gatherings will be hosted at Glasgow’s SEC, Edinburgh’s St Andrew’s Square, Aberdeen’s Marischal College Quad, Dundee’s Slessor Gardens and Inverness’s Eastgate Shopping Centre.
Information about the auctions and tickets for the farewell events are available at oorwullie.com
