GERMAN police have confirmed they have joined the search for missing Scottish tourist Chris Nelson.
The 24-year-old went missing in Amsterdam earlier this month while visiting the Dutch city with his fiance.
The youngcouple had recently moved to Germany together and Mr Nelson, a former NHS pharmaceutical technician, was working as a labourer.

“We are searching over all of Germany and are in contact with police in the Netherlands,” said a police spokesman from the Rhein-Kreis Neuss area where Chris had been living with his partner Stephanie Kollross.
“At this point we have no indication that this is a criminal case, however,” they added.
Chris Nelson, who is from the Eskbank area of Dalkieth, Midlothian,travelled to Amsterdam to visit a friend who lives in the city.
The friend posted an appeal online after Mr Nelson failed to return from a walk in the Nieuwmarkt area, which is inthe city centre.
Dutch police have appealed for anyone who has seen Mr Nelson to come forward and have issued a missing personsnotice for the city.
