Bob Geldolf is back with a new version of Do They Know It’s Christmas to raise money to fight the spread of Ebola.
The effort has been widely criticised due to the fact that it paints a very grim and unrealistic picture of Africa and no one has ever heard of most of the musicians.
Let’s face it, if they really wanted to help they could just donate some of their vast wealth.
Well, these are all valid points but my problem with it is that it was a rotten song in 1984 and it’s even worse now.
My advice is if you want help then donate money directly to a charity.
P.S. Rumours that Sierra Leone’s musicians are to release a charity record in order to raise funds to buy Sir Bob Geldof a suit have not been confirmed at this time.
