Smokers who turn to ‘vaping’ need to know their rights.
Smokers take note if you change to ‘vaping’ (much better for you and the new big thing), you can now vape in several airports, including Terminal 4 at Heathrow and many in the USA.
As for vaping on a flight, all airlines have different policies. You can carry an e-cig, but many airlines have policies against using them in-flight and ask that you stow them with your carry-on. Check with the airline you’re flying with.
You can vape in Holland, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Ireland, Poland, Portugal and Malta, but can’t in any public places in France.
Britain takes the attitude that you can vape wherever you can legally smoke. A useful website is learn.eversmoke.com/e-cig-world-regulations.html.
Most cruise liners allow vaping in smoking areas and cabins and you can travel with the ‘e-juice’ as long as it meets the regulated amount of liquid, 100ml, and is in a branded bottle clearly labelled. It should not be problem when going through security. If you need to take more juice with you, put it in your checked luggage.
If you’re looking for a good outlet in Scotland (who can post to anywhere worldwide and who are experts on this subject), then try The Vapour Lounge. Based in Edinburgh, check them out at thevapourlounge.co.uk.
